Hello,
Unfortunately, I have installed Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon on my Acer Aspire E 15.
I would like to do a factory reset. By pressing Alt + F10 on reboot I do not get into the recovery menu anymore!
The "Push Button Reset" partition exists on the disk and can easily be mounted into Linux. Since the local data volume there is 14 GB, Windows 8 would have to be available for reinstallation.
Is it possible to run the ReBuildSSD.exe which is found on this partition?
Or does anyone have any idea how I could get into the recovery menu?
Even holding Shift when restarting does not work.
Thank you very much!
