I had Windows 8 on Disc and updated to windows 10 some time ago when offered it for free. Windows update was recently installed and my PC crashed and lost everything. I have re-installed Windows 8 for now but my product key to activate it is not working. Not sure where to go from here? No idea what my activation code is for the digital download of Windows 10.1.
