I know Vista is very security conscious and all that, BUT every time you do
anything, even as simple as renaming a file, it get ridiculous. It take
from 3 to 6 times telling it, "this is really what I want to do", before it
does it. Is there anyway to shorten this process down one or two "yes I
want to do this" LOL.

Sure would save on my nerves to have a shorter process. Thanks

This doesn't happen to me in folders I have permissions for. If you're
getting this in folders you use a lot you might want to check the
permissions for the folder.

Mainly I get this at different times, but here are few that I get it on a
regular basis:
Installing programs, even those they are being run as Administrator
Opening some programs such as PSP 7
Deleting Files or Folders
Moving Files or Folders <copy and paste>

It is just a time delay that I should be able to avoid.
