I'm having problems activating windows 10
I bought a laptop with windows 10 pro installed, after some time i moved windows to a new 2Tb Hdd,
the install process was like cloning the system with all apps intact, it was working fine, then i
reduced the main drive size to use as storage, using disk management i reduced drive(c) from 900gb to 230 gb, and then reinstalled windows using the fresh start option
since then im having problems activating windows
On the activation page it says:
"We can't activate Windows on this device because we can't connect to your organisation's
server. Make sure that you're connected to your organisation's network and try again. If you
continue having problems with activation, contact your organisation's support person. Error code: 0x8007007B"
I tried some workaround on the issue, but all have failed...
When i click troubleshoot the error message appears:
"We found a Windows 10 Home Single Language
digital license for this device running Windows 10 Pro. To activate using this digital license,
you need to install Windows 10 Home Single Language.(0x8007007b)" the only other option that appear is "learn more about windows activation"
But that's not right, I've been using windows 10 pro on this laptop since i bought it, and when i
type slmgr.vbs /dlc" to see my license details it says that my product is indeed a Windows(R) professional edition

So i know this is not counterfeit software, it's a legit windows 10 pro license
and when i input my key at "change product key" option on the activation menu it says:
"the product key you entered didn't work. check the product key and try again, or enter a different one (0xcf004f050)"
When i input the default windows 10 pro key(...T83GX) it says:
"We can't activate Windows on this device as we can't connect to your organisation's
server. Make sure that you're connected to your organisation's network and try again. If you
continue having problems with activation, contact your organisation's support person. Error code: 0x8007007B"
When i input the windows 10 pro default key on the command prompt "slmgr.vbs /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx" it says that the product key was installed successfully, but when i type
"slmgr.vbs -ato" it displays the following error :
"Activating Windows(R), Professional edition (2de67392-b7a7-462a-b1ca-108dd189f58
8) ...Error: 0x8007007B The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorr
ect. (SWbemObjectEx)"
When i input my bios(oem) key to cmd with the "slmgr.vbs -ipk" command it says:
"Error 0xC004F069 On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a
0xC004F069' to display the error text"
I called Microsoft support earlier today and the guy told me that the reason for this happening is because the Microsoft servers are down and i should wait a few hours, but i'm having this problem for 2 days now, a lot of time has passed and i can't still activate windows 10, i still have the original Hdd that came with the notebook, what should i do? please help!
