Greetings everyone!
We have deployed several Windows Server 2016 (1607) machines in our environment. Everything works fine except one strange thing-proxy settings in Internet Explorer. We apply proxy settings via GPO (User Configuration->Preferences->Control Panel Settings->Internet Settings and etc.) as it is usually done and it works like a charm for 2008R2/2012R2. For 2016 settings are also applied (if we check Connections->LAN settings tab in IE, all settings are shown correctly, in registry too), but when we launch IE, it returns an error that proxy server is not responding. BUT when we launch IE as an administrator it starts to work! Moreover if we disable IE GPO and configure proxy manually, reset IE, it also starts to work. UAC, Windows Defender and Windows Firewall are disabled, ADMX templates have been updated to the latest version (just for information). We tried the GPO also after clean install, result is the same. We all have local admin permissions on machines. Have someone ever faced such strange thing? Thanks in advance.
