Problems with printer redirection over RDP

Hi guys,
I have a remote computer that users connect to and print using printer redirection. It has Windows Server 2016 Standard and it has been working great for the past 2 months and half.

Starting last week users started having issues printing. All users just stop printing to any redirected printers and the only thing that fixes the issue is to log off the users and have them log in back to the server to be able to print again.

It happens every night and I don't know what to do. The only logs I see on the server is this message in the event viewer:

The document Print Document, owned by trafic4, failed to print on printer Canon iR1020/1024/1025 UFRII LT (redirected 20). Try to print the document again, or restart the print spooler.
Data type: RAW. Size of the spool file in bytes: 299704. Number of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages in the document: 1. Number of pages printed: 0. Client computer: \\SRV. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 122. The data area passed to a system call is too small.

If I log off the user and log them back in it works perfectly but it's a daily issue that didn't happen before.

What could be happening?

No new updates were applied before the issue.

Regards,

Teo
