Which version of Windows 10?

I have tried for days, weeks and months to update my Windows 10 and I can only get to 99%. I've downloaded stand alone installers from the KB catalogue but still nothing works. One thing I thought might help is finding out which version I have. The first failure is 1607 then 1703 then 1709. Any ideas? If I try again with the latest June 2018 update, will I get beyond 99%? It takes around 8 hours to get that far!
