Hi,
I have an old laptop which had Windows 7 (Retail) on it that I updated to Widows 10 in 2015 via the free update process, works OK but slow. My Desktop motherboard died recently, it had Windows 7 (also Retail) on it which I couldn't update for some reason. I have since rebuilt the desktop with an Asus motherboard and Z370 CPU and loaded Windows 7 on to it. There's is now issues with receiving updates since Windows 7 doesn't support "Secure Boot", but otherwise seems to work OK .
So my question: Can I swap the Windows operating system's from one PC to another, so the Desktop runs Windows 10 and the Laptop runs Windows 7?
