Having trouble connecting or staying connected to WI_fi

My roomates say there stuff is working just fine, have comcast wifi all the lights on router/modem are on,have trouble connecting and when I do get connected u have to continually hit disable and connect back and forth to get somewhere or pages time out or cant find page, have rest network adaptor ran troubleshooter, says dns router is not available or cant contact it
