laptop running slow

I own an alienware 13r2 and after a couple months it was running probably a quarter of the speed. I've been troubleshooting all that I could and it has helped some, but is still quite slow. I don't know if it's a driver issue, and I know it's not a malware issue. any help is appreciated.
