My Outlook 2016 search barely returns any results of email searches, and sometimes "no results," when I know there are many email messages with that content. Outlook 2013 had just started doing the same so I upgraded to 2016, but that didn't solve issue. Attempts in Control Panel to Index or Reindex or Rebuild on latest updated Windows 10 Surface Pro 3 results in Indexing stopping at some point (like 17,236) I also see "Indexing speed is reduced due to user activity," but I have nothing else running. And the partial Indexing doesn't seem to make the Outlook search any better - in fact last round it is worse as I got no hits.
Doing what is said like at Windows Search just stops indexing. does not seem to work.
Is the Windows 10 screen lock causing the issue? Unfortunately unlocking Windows does not result in Indexing resuming. Is McAfee Total Protection causing issue? Or is it something else?
