Hello everyone
I think I'm very confused right now and I think that the answer is simpler than I think.
It is about setting up a website with a domain.
I installed IIS and I can't get any further at this point.
So what did I do?
I have added a new page:
Sitename: lkdlkjadklsajlk.gk
Path: C:\inetpub\wwwwroot\lkdlkjadklsajlk.ga
Binding: unassigned / 80
host name: www.lkdlkjadklsajlk.ga
The server behind the IIS has two IPs because I set it up via Azure, a public and private IP.
At the website I have as name server the public IP of the server in it.
Without surprise access to lkdlkjadklsajlk.gk does not work.
So I suppose I've done/forgotten the following:
- DNS entries
- Name server for the domain
- no IP stored during binding.
If this were the case, how should I make the DNS entries?
Which name servers do I have to define?
Which IP should I use for binding, public or private IP?
The aim is to be able to access lkdlkjadklsajlk.gk via the Internet.
Kind regards
