My case is different than a previous post. I get this when I am starting Avid Media composer. I disconnected all external drives and still get this. It hangs the computer and stops outputting a signal to the external monitor. My laptop screen went blank as well. Disconnectig the external monitor returned control. This is a new phenomenon starting today. It has shut my business down. I have reinstalled the Avid application to no avail. I am also having problems with Firefox which also keeps having tabs crash. Is this an application or Windows problem.
