Slow startup and screen flickering

This has been happening to me for a couple of days now. My laptop is quite slow to boot up, and has vertical screen flickering when initialising. It does work without any issue, but I am extremely concerned this is a sign of internal problems. Sometimes when I shut it down I'll get an error message that pops up too quickly for me to read it too. My display drivers are all up to date, which is the only thing I can think of to do without asking for help.
