Default security policies for Windows 2003 standard and enterprise

M

Mr. STDragon

I'm having difficulty locating a detailed listing, including the default
settings, of the Windows 2003 Standard edition and Windows 2003 Enterprise
edition security policies. I wish to compare the differences between the
two. (If any).

Hello,

Thank you for using newsgroup!

From your post, we may use RSOP.msc to check the policies in the two
machines. It will display the policy source in the UI. For more detailed
information about RSOP, please refer to:

RE: Default security policies for Windows 2003 standard and enterp

I was hoping to find a text listing of the local security policies as they
are set on a default installation of the two O/S's. The Resultant Set Of
Policies tool will be helpfull, but I'll have to install the O/S's to a VM
first. If this is my only choice, that's fine.
