Why does Microsoft think they need to change permissions on user public folders everytime they do a cumulative update in Windows 10? I have a replication application that runs every night to backup certain folders from my wife's computer to mine. Every time, or at least almost every time, a cumulative update installs, I lose access. Fortunately, I receive an email about the failed access. I go into my wife's computer and find that my user permissions have been removed.
