How can I stop one of my document sub-folders from scrolling to the bottom when opened?

I copied all of my Document folders from one computer to another, but just one folder seems to automatically open scrolled all the way to the bottom where the oldest files are. My usual sorting and viewing preference is by Date Modified and Newest at top. This specific folder carries the same settings, but opens with the scroll bar all the way down. Is there a way to fix this, or is there another setting I'm missing?
