Groups show only SIDs of the User IDs & not user friendly name or User ID

Security group in one of the Windows 2016 servers show only SIDs of the domain users and not user name or user ID. When I checked, I found that NETLOGON service is not working and when I try to start the service it gives me an error " NETLOGON service is terminated unexpectedly. Error 87: The paramter is incorrect". I believe this could be the reason for this SID issue also. Kindly advice.
