I read over this MS article, "Assign Delegated Print Administrator and Printer Permission Settings in Windows Server 2012" and am still having trouble. I'd like to let an Active Directory group be able to delete print jobs, clear print queues, and reboot the server if necessary.
I created an AD group and added a couple users to it. I added this group to the Power Users group on the Windows 2012 server. I added the Power Users group to all of the Printers > Security tab for 'manage documents'.
When one of these users RDPs to the server they are not able to delete/clear print jobs. The error is "Operation on a printer cannot be completed. Access is denied."
What else needs to be done to allow this?
