Redirected folders user or authenicated user?

I am looking at the Share and Security permissions for Redirected folders.

The information I see on the Internet still show using users for the sharing and security permissions. I am wondering why user or everyone in earlier versions of Windows Server is being used instead of authenticated user.

When is user used and when is authenticated user used?
