Downgrade Windows Server Datacenter Evaluation (2016) to Windows Server Standard Evaluation (2016)

Dear Forum-Members,

i have the following problem: I have installed multiple Windows Server 2016 Datacenter Evaluation VMs.

Now we have switched our Licensing to Standard instead of Datacenter. How can i switch Datacenter to Standard without a complete reinstall?

Can i activate 2016 Datacenter with a 2016 Standard-Key?


If thats not possible, is there a way to synchronize all Settings, Third-Partys Software and so on to a newly build VM?
