Add Windows 2016 Domain Controller with Windows 2012 R2 DCs

Hi All,

Need to understand if we can add Windows Server 2016 domain controller with Windows Server 2012 R2 DCs.

All DCs are Windows Server 2012 R2, Forest and domain functional level is Windows Server 2012 R2. We need to add single Windows Server 2016 DC.

Currently there is no plan for demoting Windows Server 2012 R2 DCs.

So is the coexistence is possible?
