Server 2016 with the latest windows updates installed. This is a core install that will have 2 roles, iscsi and hyper-v host. There are 5 drives physically attached to this server and i want to make iscsi connections to these drives. This is a brand new install and the very first thing i add is the iscsi role using server manager from a workstation. This completes without any error and i reboot the server. I then start the iscsi service and set it to automatic. In server manager on a workstation, i navigate to iscsi and create new virtual disk with the wizard. Enter in the required info and click create and get the following error:
I have followed articles from virtualadmin and microsoft sites. Still cant get a disk created. Did something change on iscsi with the latest server update?
