I'm on AWS and cannot join a domain between a file server and DC unless I open all the ports on the client.l
There are articles on what ports need to be opened on a DC. These are set up correctly. The client however cannot join the domain unless I open all the ports on the client. The Event Viewer says the client can't resolved the name of the domain, but DNS port 53 is open on the client. If I open all ports on the client I get prompted for the domain credentials. When I close the ports on the client I cannot get a join domain prompt. Even with 53 open. It says cannot find domain in the dialogue pop-up.
