Downloading and installing apps.

When I try to download the Facebook app it tells me I do not have the required equipment. They require DirectX 9. DirectX 9 will not download on windows 10. I am running the latest version and this should work but it doesn't. What do I need to do to get this and other apps that I have the same problem with?
