Hello,
I'm quite new to the world of Windows Server and IT in general (but i'd like to think I'm getting the hang of it). Recently I've tasked myself with creating a Windows image to deploy on new PC's that includes all the software our company uses and also has the default profile setup so when they log in for the first time (via our domain) they have all the correct application shortcuts on the desktop and their start menu is also non-windows default.
I've been researching how to do this and have ready many different articles on different aspects of this. but I keep hitting road blocks as it seems there are many different tools to use to do this and everyone has some different method they use also. So I guess what I'm asking is what is the easiest method to accomplish this task? Again I'd like the image to include the following,
A fresh install of the latest retail build of Windows 10 Pro (1803 I believe currently)
The software my company uses
A tuned desktop and start menu
What tool/tools should I be using to best get this task done as quick and complete as possible?
Thanks,
Myke
