Hi all
I am trying to create a dual boot environment on my laptop, I already have windows 10 installed on my laptop and wish to also install Windows Server 2016 on it as I am using it for practice for some Ethical Hacking Courses I am doing.
When I am done with the Window Server 2016 I want to be able to go back to my Windows 10 setup so I can continue to use my laptop as normal.
I have a 180 day evaluation of Windows Server 2016 as an ISO on a USB hard drive and have tried to install it to a VHD using the below guide with no success.
“Step-By-Step”- 4 Methods to Dual Boot Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 with or without Windows 7
I am using option 3 in the above link and can create the new partition as it guides however it will not let me install to it.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong or if I am going about this the best way but any help on getting this Dual boot setup would be greatly appreciated.
