Can't interact with Scheduled Task

Hello,

I have a Scheduled Task that is set to run at Startup on a Windows
Server 2003.

I have allowed 'interact with desktop' in the Task Scheduler service.

However, when I Remote Desktop to the server and log on as the same
domain user that the Scheduled Task runs under, I still can't interact
with the GUI of the application that the scheduled task launches. (The
process is definitely running in Task Manager).

I suspect the problem is somehow caused by the Scheduled Task kicking
off at System Startup (i.e. following the nightly server restart,
which is when I need it to start) before anyone is actually logged in
- is there any way of accessing the application under these
circumstances, without launching a separate instance of it?

Thanks for any advice.

P.S. Just to clarify, under normal circumstances, the application sits
minimized in the bottom taskbar. This is how I would hope it would
appear when I RDC to the server.

AFAIK you cannot interact with a scheduled task while running
an RDP session. Why would you want to?

The app is a secure FTP client - I just need to be able to access the
GUI occasionally to check progress, preferences etc from time to time.
We get problems if we open a duplicate instance though.
