Error message #3343

I get an error message and when I try to go to a website I get an illegal
operation had been performed.
This is the data that comes up on my monitor screen:
Pos terminated-data base error
Event DBMaint0 called
Error Number 3343
Error Description Unrecognized data base format
'C\Pos\pos.mdb'
That's all of the error message.
I already tried to go into Safe Mode by pressing F8 and F5 after the boot
and no luck. Maybe you could help me find safe mode too.

I've never had that problem. Here is an article that describes that
