In the picture above, RUMCAJS refers to the Windows 10-computer with a freshly installed Fall Creators Update, and AKI is another computer - running Windows 7 - with an HP LaserJet 6L attached to it. I've googled high and low and could not find a solution. The printing worked fine on RUMCAJS under Windows 10 before the Fall Creators Update. It continues to work fine from another computer (not shown) running Windows 7.
I tried installing the printer driver manually by right-clicking on the INF file and selecting 'Install'. This apparently went fine, but did not resolve the connectivity problems.
Any assistance will be much appreciated. Thank you.
