Internet Explorer 7 will not play video online?

Hi,
I have Windows Vista/Internet Explorer 7 when I am on the Internet and when
I click on any video to play it, you would expect Windows Media player to
open and play that video it but it does not do so. I do have Nero 7 installed
so I don't know if that is the problem? How do I get Internet Explorer and or
Windows Media player to play online videos when I click on them?

In Control Panel > Default Programs make sure Windows Media Player and IE are
set to all defaults.

O.k. so when I do what Cal Bear 66 said to do and then I go into Inernet
Explorer and click on a video link I get a pop up that says: phising filter
can not check this site microsoft temp unavailable. So what is that all
about?
