Hi,
I have a clustered failover running on server 2012. If I copy a large file for example an ISO to a client I get 90MBs sustained. So no problem with large files. however our software department keep their repositories on this server and these are approximately 600MB and consist of mainly small files. Sometimes a copy to a client can take as little as 3 minutes other times this can be as high as 25 minutes. Both of the servers are running R720's with raids. Both servers have 32GB of RAM with only 3GB utilized. Not sure if this is a networking issue or not. this problem only seems to have come to light within the last month. The cluster has been running for the last 18 months without any issue. I have tried disabling network offloading but this did not help. If anyone can point me in right direction to diagnose the issue. I would greatly appreciate the help.
