How to install Windows 2012 R2 Standard with Windows 2016 standard license

I want to purchase Windows 2012 R2 Standard for one of my application. Cureently i am not able to get Windows 2012 standard from the resellers. I have only option to buy Windows server 2016. Can you guide me how to install/Activate Windows 2012 R2 Standard with Windows 2016 R2 license?.
