Failure of Pending Udate

I have 2 recent updates that have crashed my system restart. Both show pending and i get a c4 error when the machine reboots. In cpromt DISM I revert the pending updates but they remain there for the next reboot after the machine starts up properly again. The KB files are probably corrupt. I tried manual install and it shows already installed. I need to wipe these out, download new KB files and install them. How do I get rid of the old updates to correct this issue?
