Hello everyone! Today we are announcing the release of update 1808 for the Technical Preview Branch of System Center Configuration Manager. This release adds the ability for you to perform a phased rollout of software updates in an automated fashion. You will find a new Create Phased Deployment action on a selected software update from the All Software Updates node, All Windows 10 Updates node, and the Office 365 Updates node.

You will also be able to configure settings specific to software update deployment for each phase and you can easily view information about your phased deployments on a new tab.

Allow end users to repair applications – You can now repair an installed application from Software Center.



Update 1808 for Technical Preview Branch is available in the Configuration Manager Technical Preview console. For new installations please use the 1806 baseline version of Configuration Manager Technical Preview Branch available on TechNet Evaluation Center. Technical Preview Branch releases give you an opportunity to try out new Configuration Manager features in a test environment before they are made generally available.
