Please assist me in either solving my issue or referring me to the relevant reference material.
I'm configuring 3 (in addition to Default Web Site) web sites (all on port 80, all IPs) on a web server on our corporate LAN and I have done the following:
- I've had 3 DNS entries added (corpintranet, help.corpintranet and apps.corpintranet) and all resolve to the same IIS server.
- I've deployed one SharePoint web application that utilizes 'corpintranet' as its host name and the root site as well as sub sites ARE accessible
- I've created another SharePoint application that utilizes 'help.corpintranet' but this is not accessible even directly (browsing) on the web server
- I've created another non-SharePoint application ('apps.corpintranet') and no virtual directory under this application is accessible as well.
What am I missing to get this setup to work?
