Failover Cluster - NLB - ASP.NET (Session, Cache....)

I use Windows Server 2012 R2 and IIS.


I want use high availibilty using Failover Cluster

I have 2 nodes: (Srviis1, Srviis2), the same sites and appPools.


I would like too use NLB feature Windows Server 2012 R2


New concepts: NLB, WebFarms, ARR.

Are compatible with Failover Cluster ?

Whats about using Failover cluster and ASP.NET Session?
Whats about using Failover cluster and NLB and ASP.NET Session or Cache?


Whats about using Failover cluster and NLB + ARR and ASP.NET Session or Cache?



Anyways, using only Failover Cluster, if a AppPool is down in node 1, the request will be fail.

Any solution about it?

good patterns and practices for all ?
