NLA (Network Location Awareness) sometimes states "No connectivity"

Hello,

we have 10 different virtual Servers (Windows Server 2016 1607 14393.2430), which sometimes "loose" their network connectivity during the day. Loose is in quotation marks, because the loss is only stated by NLA, but the connection is still there.

The following happens:

- The yellow/black exclamation mark in the notification area of the taskbar appears and states "no internet connection" as you hover over it with the cursor

- The network location stated in the networking and sharing center shows the right domain zone but reports "no network connectivity" on ipv4 and ipv6 if you open the properties of the ethernet links

- The really funny part: Network ressources are reachable by ping, DNS is working and you are able to browse the internet

- The main problem: Software that "asks" NLA for connectivity is not working. Outlook won't connect to the Exchangeserver although it is reachable by ping and you can browse OWA

- If you restart NLAsvc, everything works normal and the exclamation mark goes away.

There are no errors in the System- and Applicationlog. Even the NLA and Networkprofile Logs show no errors.

The network link is via vmxnet3 drivers and has a Sophos UTM firewall configured as gateway. The primary DC (same subnet) is it's DNS server.

Can anyone help me on this problem? Anyone had something similar?

Thanks in advance!
