Good Morning technet,
I have been researching this for two days and still cannot seem to find a clear cut answer to my problem or even one that matches closely to my scenario.
I am running Hyper-V on Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter with my Domain Controller being a Server 2012 R2 Datacenter edition vm
The domain controller has been sitting on "please wait for local session manager" for 2 days and the spinning circle dots are frozen.
I can boot the server into all versions of safe mode, I have tried to revert pending actions using the repair windows option. I have created a new VM with a copy of the vhd and it just gets stuck on "getting devices ready".
I am at a total loss as what to do and this all comes as I was getting my FX2S updated so I could spin up the other compute node to which will be our dedicated backups server. I wasnt expecting there to be an issue with the DC as it was just going through a clean shutdown but it appears to have been corrupted somehow.
