Hi Folks,
I'm trying to create a DFS namespace for a CIFS share created on NetApp, the scenario is like
1. I've created a CIFS share on NetApp.
2. I've created a member server within my domain with DFS installed.
3. Now mapped the CIFS share on this server
4. and trying to create a namespace for this mapped drive. I need to just create a namespace for all users so that they can access using this namespace. I've clients both windows and MAC who can then access the path using this namespace.
In general DFS namespace is created on hosted servers so not getting the mapped drive while creating this namespace.
Is there any workaround for the same. Any suggestions articles on creating a DFS namespace for a CIFS would be of great help.
Thanks
