Upgrading Operating Sytem to Windows Server 2016 for SQL 2012 Server

Hi Folks

We are planning to upgrade all our existing windows Server 2012 standard to Windows Server 2016 Standard. And have some SQL 2012 Server Cluster workload running in this WS 2012 machines. Is that Possible to do an in-place upgrade for SQL workload which is in SQL cluster as well as standalone; Is this scenario Supported ? , Couldn't find any Microsoft documents for this. Appreciate your help.
