user folder on c drive

I have photos in my user photo in the c drive - C:\Users\"name"\OneDrive -- are the photos on my C drive or are they in the cloud ? I'm getting message that I'm almost out of memory in one drive - I just want to verify i that my photos are resident on my computer and I'm assuming the one drive portion is the cloud backup only that I'm out of memory on since my c drie sows plenty of memory
