VM failed to initialise on Server 2012 R2

Hi,

I have a server 2012 r2 std machines with 3 VMs on.

After rebooting the server the VMs won't start and they all say failed to initialise.

Creating a new VM produces the same thing.

There have been updates installed (about 10-15)

I've removed the security updates but still have this issue.

Anyone have any ideas?
