We have hundreds of multi-role servers running server 2008 r2 and we need to move to new 2016 servers. I have been able to script out the migration of everything except for DFS. We are only using DFS Replication service.

Can anyone point me in the direction to get all the replication folders and partners for a given server? I need something from the command line. Since 2012 there has been very useful DFS powershell modules but they are not available for server 2008 r2. I have looked at all the dfs command line tools but it looks like you need to know the replication name. Lots of these servers use different replication names. So I want to query what those replication names are, drop them into a variable and run a loop against that variable on the new server to create and join the same replication partners.

Thanks in advance!
