Active Directory shared folders and users permissions

I have a number of folders, say more than 10 and have like 5 users registered in Active Directory accessing them.

I need to set permissions to each folder for specific users to gain access and to restrict others.

What is the best practices regarding this, applying AGDLP?

Do I need to create Groups like:

FolderA_Modify, FolderB_Modify, FolderC_Modify, etc.

FolderA_Read, FolderB_Read, FolderC_Read, etc.

for each folder and then add the users to them for the specific folders?
