Windows Server '16 server to server replication data recovery

So I am trying to recover a driver from on of my servers. I try to "set-srpartnership" and go through the commands and I keep getting an "replication group rg01 does not exist on the local computer" error. I have searched around google quite a bit and I am not finding much as to how to recover. Any insight would be appreciated.
