Hello,
I think I got the calculation for the VM cost alright. For example I have 1 windows server 2016 standard edition with 2 CPUs, 10 cores by CPU and I want to run 4 VMs :
number of windows server 2016 standard : 2 (because I have 4 VMs), so 2 x $882 = $1764
number of additionnal 2-cores pack to buy : 2 (because (2CPUs x 10 cores) - 16 cores covered by the standard version = 4 = 2 pack of 2 cores pack), so 2 x $110 = $220
cost of the VMs : 4 VMs * 2 cores pack, so 4 * $110=$440
with a total of $1764 + $220 + $440 = $2424
Is it correct ?
If yes, now I want to run the 4 VMs with windows server 2016 standard edition, do I have to pay additionnal licence for each VM ?
Thanks.
