Hi. I have an issue that I need some help with.
First, the premise. I have a server running Windows Server 2012 R2 and 6 PC's running Windows 10 pro. They're connected to the domain server.
I recently got a Dell Laptop running Windows 10 home edition. I tried connecting it to my server and it does. I clicked on the "This PC" icon and then "Add a network location". I entered the folder path and it connected. I am able to open the folder and copy the files but after opening maybe one file, it gets stuck. The explorer window becomes non-responsive and I have to close it.
On the other hand, my ERP (Tally ERP), which is also installed on my server works just fine on my laptop. Can some one suggest what I should do?
FYI, the laptop has a USB-C port, so I got a USB-C to ethernet converter from Belkin. Also, I am unable to join a domain, I assume, because the laptop has Windows 10 Home edition.
Your support would be greatly appreciated.
