Hi ,
I've read below article which talks about the consequences of disabling/removing admin shares But it seems to be related to older windows server editions 2000 and 2003 but my question is, will there be any issues in the latest Windows server versions 2008, 2012, 2016 etc if admin shares disabled or removed?
Do Microsoft recommend disabling admin shares on their latest server editions? OR Do you foresee potential issues if admin shares disabled. If you foresee any issues, do share detail information on what is the aftermath, what are the areas it is going to affect like the way you mentioned in older posts below.
