In the past I used to be able to go into the registry and change the "wallpaper" value under HKEY_USERS>Control Panel>Desktop but with Win2012 this value and others pertaining to wallpaper do not exist. I do not want to use Group Policy to set some sort of standard color or background theme because each server I manage has a different name/message plus I don't have access to GP. For example, the bmp image I typically create will list the name of the server, if it was a Development server or Production server, and any special instructions. Example: "XYZ Application Server - Production Server". This way anyone logging onto the server would know exactly what this server is for.
